Sensual knits
Last wednesday I got Sensual Knits from Book Depository. It is so fantastic book. It is just what knitbook should be. There are beautiful photographs and well written text. I could watch those photos again and again and they are so good. It is not suprise to me that this book is made by Photographer. Person who understand photos and knits is wonderful compination to make knit book.
I read the introduction and other texts very carefully and totally agree with them. I don't have much money to spend to yarn so I will only buy them when I need them and am totally sure I will knit certain project from them. This way I save money and can buy more expensive yarns and choose luxuries instead of acryl. Unfortunately I don't have the book with me now so I can't quote it.
There are many patterns I like but I'm not yet sure will I knit them. But I'm really sure that I will some day knit Vixen camisole. I don't have photo of it but if you have Ravelry account you can visit the link. Other my favorite knits from this book include Adelle stockings and Lily of the valley Opera glove.
iSukka
I have knittted something also. I saw Rosered's iSock and knew instantly that this is cozy I want to my Ipod Nano. So I knitted my version of iSock and named it iSukka which means same in finnish.
I casted on 24 stitches and did 2k2p rib. Yarn is Novita Nalle (some vintage version) and I used 3 mm needles. Button is from Lankabaari.
