Silmukointi

A couple of weeks ago I stayed hospital one week. Before going there I needed desperatly something to knit. Then I remembered Hansi Singh and her fabolous hansigurumi creatures! I ordered four patterns: squid-a-licious, fibbler crab, anglerfish and cuttlefish. So I chose the colors for squid-a-licious and started to knit. I didn't even remember how fun it is to knit. And Hansi's patterns are like you solved crossword. I don't mean that they are hard to read or anything, but you finish the parts quickly and you can feel that you did something! Every piece needs own kind of techniques so you won't be bored knitting them. I recommend them to everyone! Some photos of Squid's adventures. I did use some vintage Novita Nalle yarn again and douple pointed needles 2,5 mm.

I'm participating Ravelympics 2008, which is "knittin olympics". My knits are participating Events like colorwork cross country and amigurumi-n-toy toss and WIP wrestling. Today I got first knit finish. It's Berry Octopus . Berry Octopus is a cheerful and lively little thing. She went straight to wild and wanted to pose in grass. She loved the flowers. Pattern is Octopus by hansigurumi . I used Novita Nalle Colori and some vintage Marlux superwash. Needles was 2,5 mm dps.

My Nudibranch is finally finish! I'm almost finish with my Taika-mekko , but it too big. Now I'm testing if I can save it with smaller needles. If that doesn't help I'll frog it. Then I will knit again to get much prettier dress. Here is photo when I was just started to knit.

I haven't knitted my nudibranch since last time.. Here you see how it looks now: I almoust finished my DNA scarf. I haven't fasted off yarn but otherwise I don't need to knit it anymore. It's lovely but maybe too narrow. This is how it look in beginning. I started making Zetor scarf in Colinette Jitterbug. I love the colours of yarn: Today I got yarn reel from my mum's ware and wound a skein of Jitterbug. It was really fun and fast! I'm proud of result. It's cute.

I finally finished my octopus. Pattern is made by hansigurumi. Yarn is Novita Nalle and I used 3 mm needles. In progress picture: It took me 2 months to do this. This was a little difficult to me but I think and hope that second one would be quicker and easier to do. Next I will do nudibranch from hansigurumi or Shaun the Sheep mobile pattern.

Ei huvita neuloa ja neulomisaikaakin tuntuu olevan vaan luennoilla. Ravelry on ihku ja kiva, mutta ei se silti neulo puolesta. Mustakalassa on nyt kai 4-5 lonkeroa. Osa on ommeltu kiinni, osa on auki. Aurora-laukku on kahvaa ja puolta vaille. Tekisi mieli purkaa toinen kahva alkutekijöihin, kun siellä on jotain lankasotkua. Valokuvaajatumputkaan ei valmistu, kun olen eri mieltä itteni kanssa, millaset niistä pitäisi tulla, ja niissä on selkeitä suunnitteluvirheitä. Olisi ehkä helpompi ollut vaan ettiä joku ohje. Hihattimetkaan ei edisty, kun en tiedä mikä olisi sopiva määrä silmukoita mihinkin. Ja kavennukssta tuli ihme pussi. Ääh. Tuntuu, että kaikessa on virhe.
